This call is aimed at promoting multi-istitutional research collaborations focused on some specific areas of strategic interest for regional development and it is one of the actions which will be enforced by Piedmont Region in order to sustain research activity, fulfilling the potential enabled by the development of a knowledge-based economy, with enterprises, universities, research and technology transfer centres which effectively cooperate in developing new knowledge and promoting innovation.
Piedmont Region through this instrument means to support the development and the consolidation of a regional economy based on knowledge and innovation.
Proposals must involve different subjects.
- "proponents", which have the responsibility for submitting the proposal:
- University of Turin, University of Eastern Piedmont, Polytechnic of Turin;
- public research centres, which are nonprofit and have their registered office or their labs in the territory of Piedmont Region;
- The subject belonging to the categories listed above have
also the possibility to join the project as "additional
proponent". The financial treatement will be aligned to
the proponent, but no responsibility on the whole project
is involved.
- "co-proponents" which have to submit the proposal along with "proponents":
- firms suppliers of good e/o services, which have at least one of their offices in the territory of Piedmont Region (as a single firm or in partnership);
- "additional subjects" which can participate to the project:
- other universities;
- public and private research centres;
- private foundations, which deal with research activities;
- scientific and technological parks;
- public medical enterprises.
Registration is needed to enter the system.
